Associate Professor & Coordinator, Department of Optometry, TIPSI have done so many Diploma courses, Fellowship and Certificate courses before and after my Master’s Degree to make the depth of my optometry knowledge, and it was all for my satisfaction.
Being an optometrist, when I have started my career in the year 1991 at Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences and Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan, at that time I was inspired by the Monks of this institute to make my knowledge updated according to the development of medical sciences every day for the benefit of patients by giving them updated medical management. The teaching environment of this institute pushed me to get attached to the optometry teaching profession to make so many good knowledgeable optometrists. As a teacher, we are teaching the high frequency complicated medical science to the students by converting it into a low rate simplified way so that the students can understand easily. I feel a good teacher means an excellent knowledge converter. Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences is that environmental structure where I can get all of these in one roof, and this is my satisfaction as well as achievement.
