This Committee is formed to design our services professionally and meet the criteria for both quality and science.
The role of this Committee is to validate the research and development axes in which to include projects that give a preliminary opinion at the scientific level. Organizing scientific seminars, interactive sessions apart from inhouse classes and also organizing other scientific activities too. The committee members review and evaluate the scientific and ethical aspects of research projects. Also, the Committee concerned with the supervision and followed up of all scientific issues and activities of the College.
Our Culture Committee is a group of cross-functional members. They meet to identify, discuss, and plan ways to bring out the hidden talents of our academicians and promote them through inter / intra college fests. To plan cultural events for each academic year so that our students are not only enriched with knowledge but also get a chance to bring out their hidden artistic talents too.
This Committee deals with various examinations held by the College and university and oversees the specialty and specifications. The members of this Committee initiates meetings and discuss all matters relevant to examinations, time – tables, timing content, and evaluation of both internal and other exams. They also set guidelines and examination policies, handling examinations and individual disciplines, etc.
The skeleton of the teaching-learning program of the Institution is the class routine. The apparent objective of the Routine Committee is to prepare it for every session and to monitor it dynamically in different academic phases throughout the course.
Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment that ensures strict rules and regulations for students on behalf of the discipline committee.
To create a safe and motivating environment in our Institution and to bring professionalism among students by the inculcation of best practices. To have an optimistic approach in imparting discipline among students. To frame rules and regulations to maintain discipline within the college campus.
Academic Committee serves as an integral part of the institute, working hand in hand with the administration. It plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of classes, examinations, other activities like setting up the curriculum, syllabus analysis, academic year planner, and many more genres related to academics.
This particular Committee plays a significant role in our institute. They keep a look at the fact that students are well oriented with the use of Library at the beginning of the academic session.The rules framed/modified from time to time are obeyed properly.
The reading materials supporting theory and research are procured well in time to cater to the diverse needs of the readers, the subscription of journals/publications and e-technology are looked into carefully.
The technology supporting Library activities is serviced, upgraded, and optimally used.
This Committee is built with a motto to create zeal amongst students and faculty members towards sports. To organize training, coaching, and education in games for everybody so that they can learn to keep themselves physically fit. To enhance the interest of participants in the field of sports. The members also promote sports activities for faculty, staff members, and students to gear up the sporting spirit. They also organize regular sports events to train students for state and national level competitions too.
In order to maintain safety and security to the girls and women, a cell has been constituted for redressal of grievances. Our women’s grievance cell stays alert all the time to prevent any sexual abuse towards the students and female workers. If the students face any harassment from the staff or workers, then they can complain about our women’s grievance cell. The members will look into the issues, gather the evidence, and take the necessary action against the guilty. We also focus on preventing this kind of harassment by using secret monitory services, which keep a keen eye on the entire campus.
Our institute has many independent hostel blocks, and the Committee continuously monitors these hostel blocks. The hostel committee is responsible for the smooth functioning of the hostel. To provide clean, safe, and comfortable accommodation with hygienic food, etc.
We also keep helping them learn to live together and strengthen their relations with mutual co-operation and goodwill as they come from different parts of the country. Maintain a conducive atmosphere for study and interchange of thoughts and ideas.
Ragging has ruined countless innocent lives and careers. To eradicate it, we strictly follow a No-Tolerance attitude towards ragging and abide by the rules set by the Raghavan Commission.
Anti-Ragging Committee is always active and is involved in designing strategies and action plans for curbing the Menace of Ragging in the College by adopting an array of specific strict rules and regulations. It is mandated that each student at the time of admission has to fill up the anti-ragging form along with his guardian consent in a stamp paper stating that our Institute is totally against ragging.
Students Welfare Committee has been formed with the sole intention to act as an interface between the Management and Students. The Committee administrates and makes decisions concerning Student Welfare, taking up issues reported by students and resolves them by bringing it to the notice of our Management. The Committee tries outmost to solve problems and probable ways of improvement in the standards concerning facilities and the like.
This Cell is an integral part of our Institution and is always on a modus operandi. We have fully invested in providing sound infrastructure and human resources to maintain the Training and Placement Cell to ensure result-oriented opportunities that the cell offers to students of the College. The primary objective is to provide training and placements to our students. This whole procedure is executed through various activities that take place throughout the academic year. We take the utmost care for each student’s to develop their attitude, soft skills through grooming sessions along with enriching their technical skills alongside analytical capabilities. The Training and Placement Cell aims to expose students to the nature of the corporate world by private training sessions, professional seminars curated by reputed healthcare professionals, internship, aptitude tests, therefore, providing insight to their future professional careers.
This Committee exists to enable the timely publication of newsletters and Journals.
As the ultimate mission of TIPS is to expand knowledge beyond classroom boundaries and to make of annual magazine, journals, a newsletter is a bridge connecting and cultivating different news, articles, stories, writing skills, etc. for both faculty, staff member and students through publications. To execute this, the Committee meets periodically to discuss and select the articles for publication. The publication’s also helps us define and bridge the knowledge bond across, thus spreading our college name beyond the campus boundaries by the circulation of our newsletters and journals.
Supervisory committee act as a support system by bridging the gap between the Management and the institutional members by communicating detailed reports related to any project, workshop, or program to be held in the institute. They also keep a keen eye on the proper execution of any such plan and even on the detailed report related to the necessity of any such program, members to be involved for the same, financial requirements, and also the benefits and obligations to organize such events.
To develop a quality system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic programmed action and to promote the measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences was developed under the chairmanship of Principal, TIPS. Since the beginning of the Institution, IQAC is involved in the development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the Colleges. This cell facilitates the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive for quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for the participatory teaching and learning process.
