Tanima Guha
Assistant Professor TIPSHaving completed more than a decade in TIPS as an Assistant professor, it is a remarkable journey of teaching, learning, and growing with the institution from its inception in 2009. I really cherish imparting knowledge and reshaping the career of students from different ethnic backgrounds. TIPS has always given me the opportunity to implement and exercise new ideas and given me the confidence to face new challenges. In my view, the greatest challenge in our case is to bridge the gap between classroom teaching and the professional world and giving students enough exposure to improve their clinical skills. I feel an additional responsibility since we prepare the future healthcare professionals for society and, it takes me on cloud nine when I see students chasing and achieving their dream jobs and make remarkable contributions in the healthcare profession. Although TIPS is not my first job, but the cooperating colleagues and administration and the at-home working environment make it the most satisfying one.
