BFN: Bachelor in Food & Nutrition 

BachelorofFoodandNutritionisadegreeprogramme.Nutritionistsanddieticiansareinhighdemandinalltypesofhealthcarefacilitiesandfitnesscentresrightnow.Becauseanytypeoftreatmentnecessitatessupplyingahealthydiettothepatient,whichwillultimatelyincreasethepatient’simmunityandspeedupthetreatment.Adietitiancanhelpanindividualdesigntherightdiettokeephimorherfitandhealthy.Theylookafterpatientsofallagesbydeliveringtherapeuticdietsrequiredthroughouttreatmentinthehospitalaswellasafterdischarge.Theneedofawell‐balanceddietiscriticalformanyprofessionals,suchasathletes,wherefitnessiseverything.Nutritionistsplayasignificantroleinthefoodsectorbyensuringthatthefoodishealthy.Asaresult,theyarealsoknownasAlliedHealthCareProfessionals.

  • After the completion of this course students will be able to ꞉ Seek employment as a clinical dietician, community dietician, dietetic educator, therapeutic dietician, registered dietician, public health dietician in different Government and Private Hospitals, Clinics, Nursing Homes, Government Health Sectors, Also as Food Service Dietician in Hotels, Cruise lines, and different Food Industries. Work as consultant dietitian in different Sports Centre and Fitness Centre. Work as Consultant Dietitian independently. Accept the Teaching Profession as a career in Colleges of Food and Nutrition

Scope of Higher Education:

M. Sc. in Food and Nutrition.
Ph.D. and also in Post‐Doctoral Programmes.
